Hello again, Cohorts!
So far, 72% of backer surveys have been completed. 🎉 Excellent job!
Of course, that means that 28% of surveys have notbeen filled out yet. So, if you're one of that group, please get your survey finished ASAP!
Even if you pledged at the No Reward level, we ask that you complete a survey before our deadline of January 19. ⏳
We need to be sure that everyone has had a chance to answer the questions in the survey, and to order any add-ons they like, so that we can be 100% certain we're ordering the right items from our producers, planting the right number of trees, adding the right people to our mailing list, and more.

As you might recall, audio commentary to go along with the book was a reward at the higher tier levels—and it's now an add-on you can grab along with your survey! 🎧
We recorded the commentary last weekend, and had so much fun scrolling through our WIP of the book. We can't wait to share it with you!
We're also working with our production liaison to get a printed proof of the anthology from a new printer we're considering working with. They use eco-friendly yet high-quality printing methods, offer great prices, and might just be our new go-to printer.
In other words…things are going great! 👌

We hope your holidays were great, and that you're ready for some excellent news. Because we've got two announcements to start your 2024!
1) Surveys Incoming! 🛬
We just sent out 5% of all our surveys as a smoke test! This is basically a chance to catch any glitches in our backer survey matrix before the other 95% of surveys go out tonight.
So, keep your eyes on your inbox for an email from us (sent via BackerKit)—if you're one of the fortunate 5%, you've got a survey waiting for you RIGHT NOW!
If not, wait just a little bit longer, because your survey will be landing soon. 🛬

But we're most excited to announce that we've teamed up with James Groeling, artist extraordinaire and the creator of the stunning Cohorts Anthology cover and intro art…to bring his hand-drawn, original art for the anthology to our store!
That's right! You can own the beautiful, hand-created, fully colored cover art, featuring Planet Oneshi and the Oneshi Press mech. You can also nab the equally astonishing intro pages, featuring Cthulhu, the Oneshi Press cofounders piloting the mech, and one very confused cow!

Salutations, Cohorts!
We're barreling toward the busiest time of the year for many, so we wanted to send out a quick update to say a few things:
1) ✨ HAPPY HOLIDAYS! ✨

Whatever version of year-end holidays you celebrate, we hope yours are filled with happiness.
Here in Montana, where Oneshi Press HQ is located, the days have gotten very short. (Think full daylight from about 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.) We're preparing to celebrate the winter solstice—when the light returns as the days begin to grow longer!
You've brought so much light into the end of our year, and we are so grateful to have basked in it. Thank you all from the very bottoms of our hearts.
2) 🛒 The Preorder Store Is Live! 🛒
We are still awaiting the funding from the Kickstarter campaign, and we're not quite ready to send out surveys yet. We expect they will go out to our backers late next week, or early in the new year!
Don't worry—we'll keep you in the loop!
But, in the meantime, if you know anyone who missed the Kickstarter campaign and wants to be sure they reserve their copy of the Cohorts Anthology…
The preorder store offers the Cohorts Anthology, along with oodles of other books and merch from Oneshi Press, so anyone who missed the campaign can still load up on whatever their heart desires.
Note: We donotrecommend that backers use the preorder store! It's for folks who did not back the campaign.
But don't worry—all our backers will have access to everything in the store when our backer surveys go out in the next few weeks.
3) 🐾 Our Next Campaign Is in Pre-Launch! 🐾
PACK is a vigilante-noir, urban-drama comic book about 6 stray dogs and their stray man. Together, they roam the streets of Brooklyn, dishing out their version of justice as they put bad guys under the fang. But good and bad aren’t so easily defined, and crime doesn’t stop at the street level…
In each issue of the series, we explore the back story of one PACK member, and continue their ongoing adventures as they fight crime, corruption, and gentrification in their neighborhood. The newest issue will follow a mastiff named Chastity.
This ongoing series written by Lynsey G, illustrated by Jayel Draco, with inks by Jeff Foulsham and letters by Cardinal Rae.
Issues #1-4 launch on Kickstarter on February 1—but you don't have to wait to support it!

Time to high-five, Cohorts!
With your backing, we closed out our campaign yesterday at 119% of our funding goal! That means a few things…
First of all, it means that you'reamazing! Thank you so, so, so very much from the bottom of our hearts and the 30 creators whose work graces the Cohorts Anthology!
Secondly, it means that the 19% of extra funding we received will be split up amongst those creators! Yeehaw!
Thirdly, it means that the fulfillment process begins soon.

Here's What Happens Next…
Now, here's what to expect in the next few weeks and months!
12/8- 12/25 - Kickstarter will start charging credit cards immediately. If there's a problem with the card you have on file, you'll have about a week to update the information and try again!
12/26 - 1/15/24 - As soon as the funds from Kickstarter land in our account, we'll do a few things: 1) Send out backer surveys! You'll have three weeks to complete them, so we can finalize item counts and get all the info we need to send out your rewards! 2) Start preparing digital rewards. 3) Plant your trees!
1/15 - 2/15 - Once surveys are in, we'll place orders with our manufacturers, then wait for everything to come to us. During this time, we'll also send out digital rewards!
2/15 - 3/15 - Fulfillment time! We'll pack and ship orders directly from Oneshi Press HQ.
3/15 - 4/1 - US shipping window
3/15- 4/15 - International shipping window
All of these dates are approximate. We'll stay in touch about changes to the schedule, so you'll know what's happening at every stage of the process!

Here's Another Campaign We Love…

After recklessly chasing an annoyed snow spirit, Sonya finds herself lost in the icy wilderness. Searching for the way back to her village, she stumbles into the half-buried palace of a forgotten, sleeping fire spirit. Kyra’s once vibrant home has decayed around her, now only illuminated by her bright memories of the past.
The two grow closer as they make their way through the frozen palace, but their newfound connection might flicker out against encroaching spirits, erstwhile dreams, and the cold night outside. As the ancient star Kochab used to guide travelers, Sonya's warmth will guide Kyra to new love.
